Regular Season Round 24: Toyoda - Tokyo Utd 70-81

Very expected game in Aichi where 12th ranked Toyoda (8-18) was defeated by seventh ranked Tokyo Utd (16-10) 81-70 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Michael Craig (196-1991, college: Southern Miss) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Masaya Ueda (177-1993) who added 13 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was Guamanian-American guard Earnest Ross (198-1991, college: Missouri, agency: Haylett Sports) with 33 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 4 assists and German center Yasin Kolo (208-1992, college: Bellarmine) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Newly promoted Tokyo Utd maintains seventh position with 16-10 record. Toyoda lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with 18 games lost. They share the position with Yamaguchi and Shanan Utd. Tokyo Utd will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Toyoda will play again against Tokyo Utd (#7) and hope to secure a win.
