B2 League top team - Chiba (23-5) had no problems winning another game on Monday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Fukuoka R. (10-18) 95-74. Chiba dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Fukuoka R.'s 34 and made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Fukuoka R. 44-23 including a 29-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Chiba looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Fukuoka R.'s players. American players dominated the game. Power forward Evan Ravenel (204-1989, college: Ohio St.) notched a double-double by scoring 29 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and Brandon Ashley (206-1994, college: Arizona) supported him with 31 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field). Even 21 points and 5 steals by point guard Marvelle Harris (196-1993, college: Fresno St., agency: Slash Sports) did not help to save the game for Fukuoka R.. Forward Jordan Glynn (200-1989, college: SF Austin) added 18 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Chiba have an impressive 12-game winning streak.
