Regular Season Round 11: Denso I. - Fujitsu RW 76-64

The game had a very big importance for fourth-ranked Denso I. as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Denso I. defeated 5th ranked Fujitsu RW in Kariya 76-64. The former international center Maki Takada (185-1989) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). The former international forward Sanae Motokawa (176-1992) contributed with 13 points and 5 assists for the winners. The former international point guard Rui Machida (162-1993) answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 9 rebounds and 12 assists and the former international power forward Yunika Nakamura (178-1995) added 18 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Fujitsu RW. Fujitsu RW's coach BT Toews rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Toyota A.
