Regular Season Round 16: Shanan Utd - Toyoda 82-91

The game between closely ranked teams ended with eleventh ranked Toyoda's (6-12) road victory over 12th ranked Shanan Utd (7-11) 91-82 on Friday. Worth to mention a great performance of German center Yasin Kolo (208-1992, college: Bellarmine) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 9 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and American JD Weatherspoon (198-1992, college: Toledo) who added 21 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Four Toyoda players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Chris Olivier (202-1992, college: OK State, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 30 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and point guard Kodai Nakano (182-1994) scored 18 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Despite that victory Toyoda went down to twelfth position due to points difference. Newly promoted Shanan Utd dropped to the ninth place with 11 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
