Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked Shinagawa (0-16) lost on the road to seventh ranked Tokyo Utd (10-6) 70-58 on Saturday. Tokyo Utd outrebounded Shinagawa 42-24 including 16 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American swingman Michael Craig (196-1991, college: Southern Miss) notched a double-double by scoring 10 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the effort and the other American import Marcus Dove (206-1985, college: OK State) supported him with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Even a double-double of 27 points and 11 rebounds by American forward AJ Bramah (201-1999, college: Nevada) did not help to save the game for Shinagawa. Guard Ikumi Takahashi (186-1998) added 8 points and 4 assists for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Tokyo Utd maintains seventh position with 10-6 record. Loser Shinagawa still closes the standings. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
