Regular Season Round 11: FE Nagoya - Shinshu BW 78-60

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked FE Nagoya and 4th placed Shinshu BW had identical 5-5 record. This time FE Nagoya used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Nagano 78-60 on Sunday night. The best player for the winners was international Luke Evans (203-1991, college: CBU) who scored 18 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). American forward Andrew Randall (198-1990, college: Temple) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. Five FE Nagoya players scored in double figures. American forward Josh Hawkinson (208-1995, college: WSU) produced 25 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import Anthony McHenry (202-1983, college: Georgia Tech) added 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Shinshu BW's coach Michael Katsuhisa rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. FE Nagoya (6-5) moved-up to third place, which they share with Kawasaki BT and Kyoto H. Loser Shinshu BW keeps the fourth position with six games lost. They share it with Tochigi Brex. FE Nagoya will meet league's leader San-en NP in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Shinshu BW will play against Akita NH and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
