Regular Season Round 12: Kagawa FA - Ehime OV 93-92

The most exciting game of round 12 in the B2 League took place in Takamatsu. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of second-best Ehime OV (10-5) to sixth ranked Kagawa FA (5-10) 93-92 on Thursday evening. Kagawa FA made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Ehime OV helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of British forward Myles Hesson (198-1990, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 37 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 8 assists and point guard Kotaro Hisaoka (180-1997) who added 18 points and 9 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) during the contest. The best for the losing side was American-Filipino forward Eugene Phelps (198-1990, college: LBSU) with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and American power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (202-1990, college: Oklahoma, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). Four Ehime OV players scored in double figures. Ehime OV's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kagawa FA maintains sixth position with 5-10 record. Ehime OV lost third consecutive game. They still keep top place with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
