Regular Season Round 10: Tokyo Utd - Toyoda 91-52

Very expected game when 13th ranked Toyoda (3-8) was rolled over on the road by seventh ranked Tokyo Utd (7-4) 91-52 on Saturday. American swingman Michael Craig (196-1991, college: Southern Miss) had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Hiroki Higashi (185-1995) chipped in 33 points (!!!) (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field) during the contest. At the losing side German center Yasin Kolo (208-1992, college: Bellarmine) responded with 13 points and 6 rebounds and American JD Weatherspoon (198-1992, college: Toledo) scored 8 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tokyo Utd have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Saitama. Loser Toyoda dropped to the twelfth position with eight games lost. They share it with Veertien Mie. Tokyo Utd will again meet at home Toyoda (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Toyoda will have a break next round.
