Regular Season Round 10: Kagoshima - Tachikawa 90-38

The game with biggest result difference took place in Renova. Local Kagoshima (9-2) outscored 14th ranked Tachikawa (2-9) 90-38 on Saturday night. Kagoshima held Tachikawa to an opponent 23.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 47.8 percent accuracy of the winners and made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. Kagoshima forced 21 Tachikawa turnovers and outrebounded them 44-22 including a 34-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Tachikawa's players. Four Kagoshima players scored in double figures. Kagoshima's coach Predrag Krunic felt very confident that he used 10 players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American forward Scott Blakney (203-1998, college: Montana) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and Ousu Mori (183-1996) scored 4 points and 4 assists. Kagoshima moved-up to third place, which they share with Okayama. Newly promoted Tachikawa keeps the fourteenth position with nine games lost. Kagoshima will again meet at home Tachikawa (#14) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Tachikawa will have a break next round.
