Very expected game when 15th ranked Tachikawa (1-7) was crushed on the road by eighth ranked Tokyo Utd (4-4) 81-59 on Friday. The best player for the winners was South Sudanese-American center Angelo Chol (206-1993, college: SDSU) who scored 19 points and 8 rebounds. American swingman Michael Craig (196-1991, college: Southern Miss) chipped in 14 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Tristin Walley (201-1996, college: Arkansas St., agency: One Motive Sports) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and his fellow American import forward Scott Blakney (203-1998, college: Montana) added 14 points and 10 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tokyo Utd moved-up to seventh place. Tachikawa lost sixth consecutive game. Tachikawa at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fifteenth position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
