Date: October 9, 2022
Everything went according to plan in Ishikawa where Shizuoka (3-1) beat Kanazawa (1-3) 75-61 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was Argentinian forward Alexis Elsener (195-1988, agency: Interperformances) who scored 27 points and 8 rebounds. Bahamas forward Tavario Miller (203-1994, college: Texas A&M) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Shizuoka will meet Gifu (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kanazawa will play against Yokohama EX in Tokyo and hope to win that game.
