An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Hyogo. Second ranked Kagawa FA faced one of their biggest challengers Nishinomiya S.. Guests from Takamatsu (34-16) defeated host Nishinomiya S. (35-19) 80-62. Kagawa FA had a 37-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. Australian center Angus Brandt (208-1989, college: Oregon St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds. Australian forward Rhys Vague (206-1996) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Four Kagawa FA players scored in double figures. American Shaquille Hines (203-1993, college: UTRGV) replied with 15 points and 9 rebounds and his fellow American import forward DeQuan Jones (203-1990, college: Miami, FL) added 16 points in the effort for Nishinomiya S.Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kagawa FA have an impressive ten-game winning streak. Despite that victory Kagawa FA went down to third position due to points difference. Nishinomiya S. at the other side dropped to the second place with 19 games lost.
