Rather predictable result when seventh ranked Gunma CT (21-28) defeated at home 11th ranked San-en NP (10-43) 79-69 on Wednesday. Gunma CT looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American power forward Justin Keenan (202-1989, college: Ferris St.) fired 28 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Naturalized American forward Michael Parker (202-1981, college: Evergreen St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds. Four Gunma CT players scored in double figures. American forward Justin Knox (206-1989, college: UNC) produced 18 points and 5 rebounds and Nigerian power forward Peter Okoye (208-2001, agency: Domantay Sports) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Newly promoted Gunma CT maintains seventh position with 21-28 record. San-en NP lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with 43 games lost. Gunma CT will meet at home Niigata A. (#11) in the next round. San-en NP will play against Shinshu BW in Nagano and hope to secure a win.
