Regular Season Round 57: FE Nagoya - Aomori W. 96-74

No shocking result in a game when first ranked FE Nagoya (38-7) crushed at home 7th ranked Aomori W. (2-41) 96-74 on Saturday. FE Nagoya dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Aomori W.'s 28 and made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. FE Nagoya looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. The former international Luke Evans (203-1991, college: CBU) nailed 29 points for the winning side and American forward Scootie Randall (198-1990, college: Temple) accounted for 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four FE Nagoya players scored in double figures. Guard Hayate Komasawa (188-1998) came up with 19 points and 8 assists and Canadian center Renaldo Dixon (206-1990, college: NM State) added 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively for Aomori W. in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. FE Nagoya maintains first place with 38-7 record. Aomori W. lost their twenty fifth game in a row. They keep the seventh position with 41 games lost. FE Nagoya will again meet at home Aomori W.
