Regular Season Round 10: Saga B. - Kagawa FA 76-98

Rather predictable result when first ranked Kagawa FA (8-2) rolled over on the road 5th ranked Saga B. (4-6) 98-76 on Sunday. Kagawa FA looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Australian center Angus Brandt (208-89, college: Oregon St.) notched a double-double by scoring 14 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and American guard Terrance Woodbury (201-87, college: Georgia) supported him with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Woodbury is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Kagawa FA players scored in double figures. Kagawa FA's coach Yuichi Ishikawa felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 26 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists by Cuban guard Reynaldo Garcia (187-90) did not help to save the game for Saga B.. American center Garrett Stutz (214-90, college: Wichita St.) added 22 points and 12 rebounds for lost side. Kagawa FA have a solid four-game winning streak.
