Regular Season Round 10: Kumamoto V. - Nishinomiya S. 78-97

An interesting game for Nishinomiya S. (7-3) which played road game in Kumamoto against one of their biggest challengers Kumamoto V. (5-5). Second ranked Nishinomiya S. had an easy win 97-78. Nishinomiya S. looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American Shaquille Hines (203-93, college: UTRGV) notched 16 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international guard Takuya Kawamura (193-86) supported him with 15 points and 5 assists. Five Nishinomiya S. players scored in double figures. Even 25 points and 6 rebounds by American swingman LJ Peak (196-96, college: Georgetown, agency: Pensack Sports) did not help to save the game for Kumamoto V.. Point guard Ryusei Sasaki (180-96) added 7 points and 7 assists for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nishinomiya S. have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 7-3 record having just two points less than leader Kagawa FA, which they share with 3 other teams.
