Regular Season Round 5: Fujitsu RW - Toyota BSR 51-44

There was no surprise in Kawasaki where bottom-ranked Toyota BSR (0-2) was defeated by leader Fujitsu RW (6-0) 51-44 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Monica Okoye (182-99) who scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. International point guard Rui Machida (162-93) chipped in 11 points. International swingman Nanako Todo (175-0) produced 10 points and center Baiq Ghua (185-92) added 5 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Fujitsu RW. They maintain first place with 6-0 record. Loser Toyota BSR still closes the standings with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
