Regular Season Round 4: Hitachi SRT - Akita NH 60-92

There was a minor upset in Tokyo where top-ranked Hitachi SRT (3-1) was crushed by fourth ranked Akita NH (3-1) 92-60 on Sunday. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Akita NH forced 25 Hitachi SRT turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Jordan Glynn (200-89, college: SF Austin) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 7 rebounds and forward Alex Davis (206-92, college: Fresno St.) who added 14 points during the contest. At the losing side forward Josh Harrellson (208-89, college: Kentucky) responded with 15 points and 9 rebounds and forward James McAdoo (206-93, college: UNC, agency: Slash Sports) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Akita NH keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 7 other teams including defeated Hitachi SRT. Akita NH will meet league's second-placed Chiba Jets on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Hitachi SRT will play against Yokohama BC and hope to secure a win.
