The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Saga B. as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Saga B. edged 5th ranked Rizing at home 89-86. Saga B. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. 32 personal fouls committed by Rizing helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Swingman Takuya Soma (181-91) fired 27 points and 7 assists for the winners. Cuban guard Reynaldo Garcia (187-90) chipped in 23 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. American forward Jordan Glynn (200-89, college: SF Austin) produced 18 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import power forward Gerald Beverly (202-93, college: Daemen) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Saga B. and five Rizing players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Saga B. have a solid series of three victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Rizing lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 20 games lost.
