Very expected game when 11th rankedRaad (1-9) was smashed by fourth ranked Mahram (6-4) in Tehran 92-64 on Thursday. Mahram dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Raad 's 32. Mahram forced 19 Raad turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Nigerian-American power forward OD Anosike (203-1991, college: Siena) notched a double-double by scoring 21 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and American-Guinea-Bissau point guard Parrish Petty (185-1988, college: UTRGV) supported him with 25 points and 5 rebounds. Petty is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Mahram players scored in double figures. Even 17 points and 9 rebounds by Mohsen Varankeshi did not help to save the game for Raad . The former international swingman Ehsan Samadi (192-1998) added 11 points for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mahram maintains fourth position with 6-4 record, which they share with Kalleh. Raad lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with nine games lost.
