The game in Amol was also quite interesting. Third ranked Zob Ahan (5-2) played at the court of 6th ranked Kouchin (2-5). Zob Ahan managed to secure a 8-point victory 63-55 on Monday. American swingman Devin Sweetney (198-87, college: SFU) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and the former international M Reza Akbari (196-86) accounted for 16 points and 9 rebounds. The former international Matin Aghajanpoor (199-1) came up with 9 points and 9 rebounds and center Parsa Fallah (201-3) added 6 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Kouchin in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Zob Ahan moved-up to second place, which they share with Naft Abadan. Newly promoted Kouchin keeps the sixth position with five games lost.
