Pelita Jaya outrebounded Dewa United 41-30 including 29 on the defensive glass. Pelita Jaya players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Dewa United was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Jeff Withey (213-1990, college: Kansas) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import forward Perrin Buford (198-1994, college: MTSU, agency: Pensack Sports) who added 24 points, 6 rebounds and 15 assists during the contest. Four Pelita Jaya players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Troy Gillenwater (205-1988, college: NM State) responded with 33 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds (made all of his sixteen free throws !!!) and American-Mexican center Joshua Ibarra (211-1995, college: HCU) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds.
