Regular Season Round 11: Simba Bogor - Rajawali 68-84

Rans Pik (#5) was upset in Gor Merpati by eighth ranked Rajawali 84-68. Rajawali dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Rans Pik's 30. Rajawali players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Jabari Bird (198-1994, college: California) who led the winners and scored 23 points and 7 assists. His fellow American import forward Quintin Dove (197, college: UT Martin) accounted for 11 points and 15 rebounds for the winning side. Five Rajawali players scored in double figures. American LeBryan Nash (198, college: OK State) came up with 22 points and 6 rebounds and Dutch-British guard Devon Van Oostrum (190-1993, agency: Octagon Europe) added 16 points and 6 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) respectively for Rans Pik in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Rajawali (6-4) moved-up to fourth place. Rans Pik at the other side dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with Prawira and Bali Utd.. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
