Regular Season Round 15: Pacific Caesar - Tangerang 79-55

Rather predictable result when third ranked Pacific Caesar (8-9) rolled over 7th ranked Tangerang (4-13) in Surabaya 79-55 on Monday. It was an exceptional evening for American Akeem Ellis (196-1990, college: Coppin St., agency: BIG) who led the winners and scored 30 points and 6 rebounds (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field). Gregorio Wibowo (182-1995) accounted for 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. American Richard Ross (198-1992, college: ODU) came up with 17 points and 7 rebounds and the former international Rizky Effendy (184-1988) added 4 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Tangerang in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Pacific Caesar maintains third place with 8-9 record having seven points less than leader Satria Muda. Loser Tangerang keeps the seventh position with 13 games lost. Pacific Caesar will meet at home Indonesia P. (#5) in the next round. Tangerang will play against the league's second-placed WBS and hope to secure a win.
