The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Dewa United as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Dewa United smashed 10th ranked Indonesia P. at home 71-44. Dewa United held Indonesia P. to an opponent 24.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 43.5 percent accuracy of the winners. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Dishon Lowery (200-98, college: OKBU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds and Kevin Poetiray (184-95) who added 19 points during the contest. Four Dewa United players scored in double figures. At the losing side Ali Alhadar (193-0) responded with 11 points and 8 rebounds and Dame Diagne (197) scored 7 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dewa United have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Pelita Jaya and Hangtuah. Indonesia P. at the other side keeps the tenth place with three games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. Indonesia P. will play next round against NSH trying to get back on the winning streak. It will be a derby game for which supporters look forward to, where their team will face at home their local rival from Jakarta - NSH.
