The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of TaiwanesePilots (3-1) in Taoyuan on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by Japanese Dragonflies (3-1) 84-73 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Pilots. It was a key game for the top position in the league. It was a good game for American forward Dwayne Evans (201-1992, college: St.Louis, agency: Pensack Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Kerry Blackshear Jr (208-1997, college: Florida) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Dragonflies' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Chun-Hsiang Lu (190-1997) answered with 21 points and Hungarian-American power forward Jarrod Jones (206-1990, college: Ball St.) added 13 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Pilots. Four Pilots players scored in double figures. Hiroshima D. keeps a position of league leader, which they share with defeated Pilots.
