Flame dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Magic Deer 's 24 and made 19-of-21 charity shots (90.5 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Magic Deer 47-18 including a 16-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Flame brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Yuting Lin (178-1994) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 7 assists. American center Kalani Brown (201-1997, college: Baylor) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Flame players scored in double figures. Australian center Cayla George (193-1989) answered with 14 points and 8 rebounds and the former international point guard Wu Tongtong (176-1994) added 13 points and 7 assists in the effort for Magic Deer. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
