The most exciting game of round 6 in the WCBA took place in Beijing. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of second-bestYuanda (4-2) to ninth ranked Beijing Great Wall (3-4) 74-72 on Wednesday evening. It was a good game for American center Kai James (196-1995, college: FSU) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. Zheng Ming contributed with 12 points and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Natasha Howard (188-1991, college: FSU, agency: LBM Management) replied with 17 points and 5 rebounds and Song Gao added 11 points and 4 assists in the effort for Sichuan. Four Sichuan players scored in double figures. Yuanda's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Beijing moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Shanghai and Xinjiang. Sichuan at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. They share it with Shanxi and Hefei.
