Swordfish used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Yiwu 101-71 on Monday night. Shanghai dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Golden Bulls 's 38. Shanghai forced 19 Zhejiang turnovers and outrebounded them 53-27 including a 22-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Shanghai looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American forward Ruthy Hebard (192-1998, college: Oregon) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points and 18 rebounds for the winners. Her fellow American import point guard Chennedy Carter (175-1998, college: Texas A&M) chipped in 22 points and 4 assists. Four Swordfish players scored in double figures. American-Bulgarian center Khaalia Hillsman (196-1996, college: Texas A&M) produced 22 points and 7 rebounds and added 22 points respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
