HK JinNiu made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Hong Kong guard Ruihong Yang (186-1997) stepped up and scored 21 points for the winners and American guard Michael Ertel II (186-1999, college: UAB) chipped in 15 points and 5 assists. Five HK JinNiu players scored in double figures. At the losing side American power forward Dakari Johnson (213-1995, college: Kentucky) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import guard Dominique Jones (193-1988, college: S.Florida) scored 25 points and 7 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
