Eagles outrebounded Guangsha Lions 46-34 including 36 on the defensive glass. Eagles looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American guard Quinndary Weatherspoon (190-1996, college: MSU) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 11 assists. The other American import power forward Jordan Mickey (203-1994, college: LSU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds for the winners. Five Eagles players scored in double figures. American Barry Brown Jr (190-1996, college: Kansas St.) replied with 36 points (!!!), 6 assists and 4 steals and international Junlong Zhu (200-1999) added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Guangsha Lions. Guangsha Lions' coach rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win.
