No shocking result in a game in Taiyuan where top-ranked Ducks (4-0) defeated 13th ranked Loongs (1-3) 103-97 on Sunday. Ducks dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Loongs' 30 and made 29-of-37 free shots (78.4 percent) during the game. Ducks looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Israeli-American forward TJ Leaf (208-1997, college: UCLA) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and the former international center Ziming Fan (211-1998) who added 19 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side the former international Shuai Yuan (194-1994) responded with 29 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and American forward Moses Wright (206-1998, college: Georgia Tech) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Ducks and four Loongs players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Ducks have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Liaoning FL and Shenzhen L. Loser Loongs keep the thirteenth place with three games lost. They share the position with 6 other teams. Ducks will meet Rockets (#15) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Loongs will play against Heroes in Jinan and hope to win that game.
