Very expected game when Blue Whales lost to Flying Leopards in Yingkou 94-108 on Tuesday. Flying Leopards made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Flying Leopards outrebounded Blue Whales 54-38 including a 24-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American guard Kyle Fogg (191-1990, college: Arizona) notched 26 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and international Zhenlin Zhang (206-1999, college: Tulane) supported him with 23 points and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 24 points, 7 rebounds and 12 assists by American point guard Trae Golden (189-1991, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Slash Sports) did not help to save the game for Blue Whales. His fellow American import center Kyle OQuinn (206-1990, college: Norfolk St., agency: Slash Sports) added 6 points and 10 rebounds for the guests. Four Blue Whales players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Flying Leopards will meet Loongs in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Blue Whales will play against Ducks and hope to win that game.
