Eagles did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 136-117 on Tuesday. Eagles made 27-of-33 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. Flying Tigers were plagued by 32 personal fouls down the stretch. American power forward Dakari Johnson (213-95, college: Kentucky) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). Bulgarian-American point guard Darius Adams (188-89, college: Indianapolis) contributed with 26 points and 7 assists for the winners. The former international point guard LingXu Zeng (194-87) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and Lithuanian power forward Donatas Motiejunas (213-90) added 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Flying Tigers. Four Eagles and five Flying Tigers players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Eagles. They maintain sixth place with 30-22 record. Loser Flying Tigers keep the fourth position with 18 games lost. Eagles will face Monkey Kings (#18) in Jiangsu in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Flying Tigers will play at home against Heroes (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
