Xinjiang overcame Jiangsu on the way to the WCBA championship series. Magic Deer dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Jiangsu Phoenix's 32. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. International center Xu Han (206-99, agency: Wasserman) nailed a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and the former international Lili Wang (170-92) accounted for 21 points and 4 assists. Magic Deer's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Center Chenyan Chenyan (200-99) came up with 18 points and 7 rebounds and the former international guard Weina Jin (180-92) added 4 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for Jiangsu Phoenix in the defeat. Four Jiangsu Phoenix players scored in double figures.
