A very close game was the one between TaiwanesePilots and Hong Kong South China . Pilots got a very close victory over South China . Pilots managed to escape with a 3-point win 79-76 on Thursday evening. Pilots looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American-Taiwanese power forward Will Artino (211-1992, college: Creighton) had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American center Alec Brown (216-1992, college: Green Bay) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Pilots' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Croatian swingman Dominic Gilbert (198-1996, college: UBC, agency: Players Group) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and Cameroonian forward Rodrigue Andela (203-1999, college: Oregon St.) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. Four South China players scored in double figures.
