Jordan posted the third consecutive win at the WABA Championship. The hosts fired past Yemen in Amman. Ali Jamal (205-C/F-88) came up with 17 points to lead the home team. Yemen suffered the third loss in a row.
Jordan held their opponents to just 4 points in the opening quarter to take a 15-point lead. Jordan maintained the advantage throughout the second quarter. They established a 40:17 halftime lead. The hosts went on a massive 28:11 run in the third term to secure an unassailable lead before the final frame. Jordan did not slow down and rolled to the victory at the end. Fadel Al-Najjar (192-G-85) accounted for 14 points, while Ibrahim Bassam (204-C-87) notched 11 points for the winners. Hakim Adamien (205-C-79) answered with 7 points for Yemen. Samer Al-Asbahi (183-G/F-86) and Ahmed Abdulghafor (200-C-88) provided 6 points each in the loss.
