YEMEN U16 FOR WABA IN BEIRUT

To participate in West Asian Youth Qualifiers, the Yemen U16 National Team have travelled to Beirut to start games to grab one of the 3 tickets to the FIBA Asia U16 in Malaysia next November.
The Hosts Lebanon, Iran, Syria, Yemen, Palestine and Jordan will compete for the invites to Malaysia.
The YBA is reeling after the loss of Head Coach Ozell Wells due to non payment of his salary. They have an impressive group of players that he had handpicked for the tournament in Beirut. We can only pray for the best as the YBA is still attempting to turn around their fortunes in international competition.
