Asia-Basket.com All-FIBA Women's Basketball League Asia Awards 2024- September 28, 2024![]() Xu Han, 25-year old Chinese center New York Liberty from USA, earned the Most Valuable Player at the Basketball League Asia.
She received multiple other awards, picked up the Best Center and earned a spot in the First Team.
Among many awards she was selected to the Eurobasket All-FIBA World Cup First Team back in 2022.
She was also selected to the Asia-Basket All-Chinese WCBA Player of the Year as well as the All-Chinese WCBA Defensive Player of the Year back in 2021.
Han was also selected to the Eurobasket All-FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Beograd (Serbia) First Team back in 2020.
Rui Machida, 32-year old point guard Fujitsu Red Wave from Japan, was named the Best Guard of Japan Basketball League.
She was also voted to the First Team.
Machida was the Player of the Week honoree in the league.
She has totalled 3 games of 20 or more points and recorded double-doubles in 9 games on the year.
Machida's 25 points against the Chanson V Magic were the most she scored in the season.
Ling-Chuan Huang, 30-year old forward Cathay Life Tigers from Taiwan, was voted the Best Forward at the Japan Basketball League.
She was also selected to the First Team.
Siyu Wang, guard Sichuan Yuanda Meile Basketball Club from China, was chosen to the First Team of Chinese Basketball Association.
Her 22 points against the Guangdong were the most she scored in the season.
Among many awards she was selected to the Asia-Basket All-Chinese WCBA Second Team between 2020 and 2021.
Akina Uchio, swingman Fujitsu Red Wave from Japan, was named to the First Team at the Japan Basketball League.
Her 17 points against the Aishin AW Wings were the most she scored in the season.
Among many awards she was selected as the Asia-Basket All-Japanese WJBL Honorable Mention back in 2020.
