Bramah number one in Vietnam VBA for round 1 (by Hoops Agents)

American-Dominican Rep. Forward AJ Bramah (201-F-1999) had an amazing evening in the last round for top-ranked Hanoi Buffaloes, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 1.
The 26-year old player had a double-double of 40 points and 13 rebounds, while his team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team Dolphins (#6, 0-2) with 24-point margin 116-92. It allowed Buffaloes to consolidate first place in the Vietnamese VBA. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Buffaloes won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. Bramah just recently signed at Buffaloes and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Former The University of Nevada star has very solid stats this year. Bramah is league's best scorer averaging so far 37.5ppg and leads league in rebounds with 14.0rpg. Bramah is in league's top in assists (4th best: 4.5apg) and averages impressive 56.4% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Brandis Raley-Ross (189-SG-1987) of league's second-best Saigon Heat. Raley-Ross had a very good evening with a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds. Of course he led Heat to another comfortable win outscoring Catfish (0-2) 93-73. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won both games so far. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Raley-Ross is one of the most experienced players at Heat and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.5ppg (#2). He also registered 8.0 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Corey Raley-Ross (192-G-1991, agency: Starting 5) of Can Tho Catfish (#5). Raley-Ross showcased his all-around game by recording 22 points, 11 rebounds (!!!) and 6 assists in the last round. Despite Raley-Ross' great performance the Catfish lost 64-90 to Heat (#2, 2-0). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Catfish can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 2 games. Raley-Ross has individually a great season in Vietnam. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.0ppg (2nd best), rebounds with 7.0rpg (7th best) and assists with 6.0apg (2nd best).

10. Kiet Nguyen Xuan (180-G) of Heat - 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists
