Catfish sign a second foreign player, ex Bima Perkasa

Can Tho Catfish (VBA) signed experienced 34-year-old American 192cm guard Corey Raley-Ross (college: Buffalo, agency: Starting 5). He is the second import player in the roster as Canadian Albert Opena signed here earlier. He played last summer at Bima Perkasa in Indonesian Kobatama. In 25 IBL games, he averaged 9.8ppg, 4.1rpg, 3.0apg, and 1.2spg. The last season he played at KK Vardar Skopje (Prva Liga) in the North Macedonian league.
He is a very experienced player, thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in eight different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, African and of course North American leagues. Raley-Ross has played professionally in Estonia (TalTech and Tallinn Kalev), Germany (TKS 49ers), Indonesia, Kosovo (Bashkimi), Spain (Aridane and Zamora), North Macedonia (KK Kumanovo 2009 and Crn Dream), TRBL (Charlotte E.) and Egypt (Al Zohour).
Among many awards, his college team made it to the Kosovo Cup final in 2022. He was also voted the Eurobasket.com All-Kosovo League Import Player of the Year back in 2020.
Raley-Ross graduated from University of Buffalo in 2014 and this will be his 13th season in pro basketball.
