Heat sign Jalon Andrews, ex Achilleas K.

Saigon Heat (VBA) signed 26-year-old American 203cm forward Jalon Andrews (college: KSU, agency: JCK Sports Group). He joins fellow USA player Brandis Raley-Ross on the team. Andrews moved to Saigon Heat from Achilleas Kaimakliou in the Cypriot ECOMMBX BL, where he averaged 7.3ppg, 5.7rpg, and 2.0apg in 7 games last season. Prior to that, he played for KB Teuta Durres in the Albanian league, putting up impressive stats of 15.2ppg, 8.4rpg, and 1.2apg in 27 games. Andrews helped his team reach the Albanian League final and was recognized with awards from Eurobasket.com for his performance.
Andrews has also played professionally in Azerbaijan (Sumqayit) and Kosovo.
He attended a camp at Eurobasket Summer League before pursuing a career in professional basketball.
Andrews graduated from Kentucky State University in 2023 and is currently in his third season in pro basketball. He has also played for other colleges such as University of Arkansas at Monticello, California State University, Fullerton, and Southwest Mississippi Community College.
