Mykal Jenkins gets MVP of the Week award for Vietnamese VBA

American Mykal Jenkins (202-F-2000) had a very impressive game in the last round for Nhatrang Dolphins and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 25-year old forward had a double-double of 27 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat City Wings (#7, 1-13) 89-81. Dolphins is placed at 3rd position in Vietnamese VBA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Dolphins will need more victories to improve their 8-5 record. Jenkins has many years of experience at Dolphins, through which he has constantly improved. St. Petersburg College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Jenkins is in league's top in points (5th best: 20.9ppg), rebounds (4th best: 15.4rpg) and averages solid 1.9bpg and 65.6% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Dolphins' star - young American point guard Jaylyn Richardson (189-PG-1998). Richardson impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 27 points and 10 assists. It was enough for Nhatrang Dolphins to edge the lower-ranked City Wings (#7, 1-13) by 6 points 87-81. This victory allowed Dolphins to move up to 3rd position in the standings. His team's 8-5 record is not bad at all. Richardson is one of the most experienced players at Dolphins and similarly like Mykal Jenkins has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 25.4ppg (#3). His other stats are also decent: 7.6rpg and 6.0apg.

The third best performed player last round was American Malek Green (201-F-1999) of Can Tho Catfish (#4). Green got into 30-points club by scoring 34 points in the last round. He went also for fourteen rebounds and five assists. Despite Green's great performance the Catfish lost 94-96 to #1 ranked Buffaloes. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Catfish needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 7 victories and 4 lost games. Green has a great season in Vietnam. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 33.6ppg (best scorer) and rebounds with 15.3rpg (5th best).

10. Dakota Zinser (191-G-1995) of City Wings - 26 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists
