Green's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

26-year old American forward Malek Green (201-F-1999) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Can Tho Catfish and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 8.
He had a double-double of 39 points and 18 rebounds, while his team beat City Wings (#7, 1-10) 71-64. Catfish maintains the 2nd position in Vietnamese league. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Catfish will need more victories to improve their 7-2 record. In the team's last game Green had a remarkable 63.0% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Catfish, through which he has constantly improved. Youngstown State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Green is league's best scorer averaging so far 34.4ppg. Green is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 15.4rpg) and averages solid 57.9% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Mykal Jenkins (202-F-2000) of Nhatrang Dolphins. He is American forward in his first season at Dolphins. In the last game Jenkins recorded an impressive double-double of 28 points and 14 rebounds. Of course he led Dolphins to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Islanders (#6, 2-8) 117-87. Dolphins' 4th position in the standings has not changed. His team's 6-5 record is not bad at all. Jenkins is one of the most experienced players at Dolphins and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Dolphins' star - guard Jaylyn Richardson (189-PG-1998). Richardson showcased his all-around game by recording 29 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists (!!!) in the last round. He was another key player of Nhatrang Dolphins, helping his team with a 117-87 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Islanders (#6, 2-8). Dolphins needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 5 lost games. Richardson has a great season in Vietnam. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 25.6ppg (2nd best) and assists with 5.6apg (5th best).
