Soy re-signs at Catfish

Can Tho Catfish (VBA) confirmed in their roster 28-year old Filipino point guard Michael Soy (182cm-78kg-1997, college: Algonquin). He is the second foreign player in the roster as USA Malek Green signed here earlier. He has played previously for two other teams: Dragons and Wings. Among many awards his team made it to the VBA Semifinals in 2019. He was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Vietnamese VBA Honorable Mention in 2023.
Soy graduated from Algonquin College in 2018 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player.
