Darrius Austin (ex Raptors) joins City Wings

Darrius Austin

Ho Chi Minh City Wings (VBA) agreed terms with 26-year old American power forward Darrius Austin (201cm-1998, college: Feather River). He moved there from Raptors in Thailand TEBA, but it seems he will not stay with that team after all. In 6 TEBA games he had very impressive stats: 20.3ppg, 18.8rpg (leader !!!), 3.7apg, 1.7spg and 2.2bpg last season.
He has played previously professionally in USA and Armenia (Vahakni City). His team made it to the TEBA Semifinals in 2025.
Austin is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league on the market.
He attended Feather River College until 2018 and it is his seventh season as a professional player.
