Defending champion Saigon Heat (VBA) re-signed 26-year old double-passport holder Danish 191cm forward Tim Waale. He played there last season. In 24 VBA games he recorded 6.1ppg, 4.9rpg and 1.1apg. He helped them to win the league title (four times) (three times). Waale also played for another Vietnamese team Heat earlier that season.
He has played also in Malaysia (Adroit) and Malaysia.
Among many awards he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Vietnamese VBA Honorable Mention back in 2022.
