Heat made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Strangely Catfish outrebounded Heat 43-27 including 29 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American swingman Elijah Weaver (197-1998, college: Chicago St.) who scored 29 points, 9 assists and 4 steals. International guard Kim Ban Vo (180-2000) chipped in 27 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Heat's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Dakota Zinser (191-1995, college: PBA) produced 40 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and Ukrainian forward Yevgen Sakhniuk (201-1995, college: Jefferson) added 11 points, 15 rebounds and 9 assists respectively for the hosts.
