Davison's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

24-year old American guard Marquis Davison (196-G-2000, agency: Worldwide SM) had a very impressive game in the last round for Danang Dragons and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 25.
He had a double-double of 36 points and 16 rebounds, while his team beat City Wings (#6, 2-16) 91-80. Dragons maintains the 5th position in Vietnamese league. Dragons is currently ranked second from the bottom. They need more victories to improve their 6-12 record. In the team's last game Davison had a remarkable 68.2% from 2-point range. He turned to be Dragons' top player in his first season with the team. Columbus State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Davison is in league's top in points (7th best: 20.8ppg), rebounds (5th best: 12.2rpg), assists (9th best: 3.5apg) and averages solid 2.2spg and 51.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Mykal Jenkins (202-F-2000) of Nhatrang Dolphins. He is American forward in his first season at Dolphins. In the last game Jenkins recorded an impressive double-double of 23 points and 18 rebounds. Of course he led Dolphins to another comfortable win outscoring slightly higher-ranked Buffaloes (#2, 11-6) 100-72. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Dolphins consolidated its place in top 4 of the standings. His team's 10-7 record is not bad at all. Jenkins is a newcomer at Dolphins and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.4ppg (#3). He also registered 14.9 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Hassan Thomas (203-F-1996) of league's second-best Hanoi Buffaloes. Thomas showcased his all-around game by recording 27 points, 18 rebounds (!!!) and 5 assists in the last round. Despite Thomas' great performance the Buffaloes lost 72-100 to #4 ranked Dolphins. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Buffaloes needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 11 victories and 6 lost games. Thomas has a great season in Vietnam. After 17 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.6ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 11.7rpg (8th best).
