Maurice Gordon was the second best scorer of the day in the world yesterday with the 38 points he had in the Wings

38 points scored by 25 year old American forward Maurice Gordon (198-F-1999, college: Valdosta St.) made him the second highest scoring player of the day in the world. His team the Wings lost to the Dragons 93 to 96. He also grabbed 16 rebounds that game. Gordon is the 8th best scorer in the league averaging almost 20 points and over 10 rebounds per game. All of the top 10 highest scorers in the league are alumni of US colleges.
Among many awards his college team won the GSC Tournament in 2021. He was selected to the All-Panhandle Conference Second Team as well as the All-Tournament Team back in 2020.
